Maryam & Suliman's day was unique from the very beginning. Its funny because i usually meet the couple before their big day but this wasn't the case in this instance due to their super busy schedules and i was naturally a bit nervous. I met them on the day and it was one of those moments when we just 'clicked' instantly and felt we've already known each other for years! They had a rocking party  from the get go starting with a traditional Zaffa band for their entrance. Later, the talented Hannah Crane belted fantastic tunes and the arabic DJ-3amoo made sure everyone was off their seats! It was an incredible night packed with energy, emotion and joy with their love shining through and through. They have elected to have a loveshoot session after the wedding and i cannot wait to hang out with them again. Congratulations! 

Here's their story...

It was a rainy week as we were approaching the end of summer, Nermine was hoping for some sunshine on the weekend of, to have a prewedding session in Brighton where she first started seeing Magdi over 3 years ago. At that point, i told her come sunshine or rainbows that we were going to take amazing pictures and have a freakin' amazing time...boy it was! The golden light at sunset was perfect. We started off wandering by the narrow streets next to Brighton Station exploring the spectacular street art, then headed to the beach and finally to Brighton Pier. They are such a lovely couple full of fun, energy and love for each other. I really hope that these photos can portray to some degree how truly awesome they are!

This is going to be a long post but every photo tells a story and so much happened in a short time! The day started at St Barnabas Church where Benjamin was having his first Holy Communion. I was amazed by the church's stunning architecture and being able to document this milestone for Benjamin and his family was what made it special. Later the family celebrated in a small Lebanese restaurant in Imperial Wharf and we even managed to squeeze in a family shoot by the river with the cheeky kids! It was an epic day and i'm thrilled with the results.

Most of my prewedding shoots are with couples who have booked me for their wedding. When Lilian and Ibrahim asked me to be a part of their big day, it almost killed me to have to turn it down as i had to be in another wedding on the same date. Thankfully, they still gave me the opportunity to do their engagement session! We headed over to Holland Park early evening followed by dinner in Nandos indulging in its famous peri peri chicken and grilled corn. They are genuinely one of the kindest people i met. Their excitement, bubbly personalities together with their trust in me as their photographer is unlike anything i've worked with. Congratulations to a beautiful couple inside and out.
