Reuben's Christening was a wonderful morning filled with lots of celebration. It was held in St Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox church in Golders Green, London. I was delighted when the parents Basil & Didi asked me to photograph their baby's christening. They are genuinely one of the sweetest people i know. I vividly remember photographing their daughter Raphaella's Christening 3 years ago like it was yesterday!

Even though i dont shoot nearly as many christenings as i do weddings, my approach is the same and that is to document the day as it unfolds naturally with a creative eye. Unposed, raw and real. I believe its the spontaneous moments, little moments within moments, moments that often go unnoticed are those will mean the most through creative photography.

After the ceremony, a mass was held followed by a small reception in the church's hall. As a person with a sweet tooth, i felt like a kid in a candy shop with all the yummy sweets and cake!

It was a real joy to capture baby Reuben's special day and a really lovely way to celebrate a new life that im extremely honoured to have been a part of.
