This is my first attempt blogging and i must say i am a little bit apprehensive, but nevertheless i am sure i will ease in to the process with time. So this post is just a little bit about my background with lots of swag, hippiness (if thats a word) and cake!
I was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan in 1985. I am the youngest of 4 brothers and a sister. I sadly lost my dad when i was only 2, but listening to his stories from my family and even strangers, inspire me. My dad was a farmer by trade but also a builder, electrician, businessman who did just about everything that came his way and didn't know how to say 'no'. He was faithful, loved his family, restless and always giving back. He lives in me everyday, and inspires me to be a better person. Apparently, he loved photography, so i guess its in the genes.
Being the youngest, I'm not afraid to say i was pretty spoilt growing up. Through Gods grace, mum had the strength to bring up the family with good morals and sensibility. I cant put to words how admirable mum is, she's just awesome!
At the age of 16, i started college in London, then went on to study Architecture in University. I am extremely passionate about art, architecture and design. Like most people, photography started as a hobby, being inspired by travel and nature. I got married to my other half in 2010, and this was the happiest day of my life. I was soon drawn into emotions after attending numerous weddings, and since then it brings me great joy documenting the happiest day of someone's life with an artistic edge which will no doubt stir their emotions everytime they look at their wedding photographs.
This will be a wrap for this one, ill let the photos tell my story. Enjoy:)
